I put my order in on Wednesday morning: 3-year lease, white, safrano orange interior trim.
I was told delivery should be in September.
Good trade-in price offered for my current diesel golf.

You’re lucky. After pestering my local dealer, they have agreed to meet up in 10 days time to “go through the paperwork “.
They claim there is a lack of information coming out of VW UK.

Order finally placed today. I received an email from VW after the dealer had submitted the order confirming they will begin to build it! I thought there were fields full of them already built / part built?
Manganese Grey Metallic exterior
Piano Black interior
Was offered a choice of September / October delivery without App Connect enabled, or January / February delivery with App Connect working. I opted for early delivery and software update in January. I hope this was not a foolish decision.

Provisionally placed order for first edition in grey with white dash
Trying to work out when Max will come to UK as prefer the spec and trims up on DE site. Also a bit worried about first edition sitting in a field for 6 months.
Dealer obvs pushing to sell first edition . Surprised they are still available for order now......

They will all have been left hand drive models, I don’t think they will have built any for UK/Eire until recently

Hi,
Has anybody had any information on delivery of youe ID3.
My dealer tells me there's wave 1 due September and wave 2 in October.
Haven't got the tracker info yet !

My preorder has landed with my dealer.
Had an opportunity to have a quick peek.
Appears bigger than golf in flesh.
Embargo on dealers not to sell the car before September 18.
No Sunroof option is bit of let down.
Neither do we have the linear LED under the bonnet hood
