Has anyone had the VW home charger fitted yet
£1000 seems a lot compared to other units on the market

I cancelled my order 2 weeks ago after receiving an email advising "significant delays"
I am currently using a granny cable and local Pod Point at Tesco. So far, so good. But if this is not adequate I will rethink, but not pay £1000+ for the VW charger.

I decided to get a Zappi, with solar panels it can adjust charge rate to match their output. I have only used it in this way once so far!
Can I ask what home charger everyone has had installed ? And what size cable you have ? Thanks

I needed to upgrade the electrics to may garage so add in cost for long cables, consumer unit etc. I went for the Zappi but between quotes I saw significant variation in labour costs. Having seen the install videos for the Zappi it is a straightforward install.
Picked up my ID.3 today, and am having a Pod Point 7kW installed at home next Tuesday - my neighbour has the same for his eNiro.
