Does anyone know if it’s possible to remove the front and rear sensor display from the rear camera view when reversing? A full view initially appears then the left hand side of the screen gets covered by the sensor graphic.

Ya it is possible. I discovered this by accident.

You just need to swipe the sensor screen to the left, this will make the reverse camera go full screen

But that means no sensor panel?

I think there’s a software fix to be made with that whole screen, there’s black space to the right of the camera image so they could just move the image to the right leaving the sensor panel and camera image both visible.

Thank you, that swipe makes a huge difference to reversing.

And for info, the view of the sensors is removed but the audible signal is still there :)

My ID3 has had a software patch installed which fixes this issue, VW sent me a video from inside my car at the workshop today!

It’s being delivered back to my home tomorrow morning.
