I have just purchased the ID3 first edition and it appears that the passenger door does not open from the outside - is there a simple thing that I am not doing correctly. I can unlock drivers door fine but passenger is left outside in the wet waiting for me to open from inside.

Try double clicking the open button on the key fob, let me know if that works.

i am fairly sure there is an option in the software to open only the drivers door or all doors.

there's an option somewhere in the options for global unlocking I had to turn it on for ours. its not obvious but find the screen with the picture of the car and spin it to move through vehicle settings for exterior and interior.
