Load length

I've just discovered, to my surprise, that I can load an 8ft fence post into my ID.3 with room to spare. That's through the ski hatch in the rear seat back, at a slight diagonal all the way forwards into the front passenger footwell.

Previously I had a Passat Estate and I think the ID.3 can take longer items than the Passat!

The id3 is sneaky big, the wheelbase is the same as on the Passat. Does make it roomier inside than one initially imagines. That said, in this case that may or may not be irrelevant!
