App connecting to car

Hi All, I’ve had trouble connecting with the car from the app. I have a message on the app that tells me to reset my vehicle to the factory settings to get the car out of the “garage”. Is it ok to reset to factory settings or do you think it will cause other problems.Grateful for any help, Gordon

I've had a similar experience but I think from reading other threads it's just a case of wait a bit and try again. It's the app/server/car connectivity that's the issue and probably not local to the car itself as others have also said. I'd sleep on it and try the app again before resorting to the reset. I did perform a reset the other day before I realised it's not the car. You'll just need to go through the qr code pairing process again.
