Software update whilst driving

Is it normal to be promoted to apply a software update whilst driving? I ask as on my first journey after picking up the car, a message popped up on the infotainment screen asking me to confirm. At the time I was travelling at 70 on the motorway, had only done 5 miles since collection - it kind of freaked me out

Yes, at the moment they are only digital manual updates. Will the same happen with other updates once 2.1 is rolled out? Who knows!

Does anyone know if 2.1 will be an over the air update?

Definitely not. It enables OTA.
