It is 0792, seen screenshots posted in a couple of other places in the last 24 hours.
So not much different to 0783 but with OTA.
Is it still the case that kph/mph issues will not be fixed by 2.1?
Am I wrong to be disappointed?

We have no idea yet exactly what it includes as a delta to 0783/2.0 - I've seen 2 photos showing 0792 in the last 24 hours, neither of those from the UK, and no comments on what the features and functions are.

I'm waiting for Chris from the Battery Life channel on YouTube to post once his is done (it goes to his dealer tomorrow morning).

I was told by VW that the kph/mph issue had been reported to the factory and they were investigating - that was mid-January.

My car is getting the 2.1 update today. I hadn't asked for it, but the car is in for something else (not software related) and when I took it in, the service guy said they had an alert to say they need to update the software to 2.1 and they would need it for 2 days. As I don't need a courtesy car he said they could do it immediately. I should have the car back with 2.1 on Friday.

Hello
New here.... my car was in today in VW Dundee. It’s in for the SOS failure. The service advisor said it was due the 2.1 update but they have come back and now said it’s not available until mid March . They have also had to keep my car as requires a new control unit to fix the fault. Said this part is on back order from VW Germany and could be weeks 😢

Have you reported that to the dealer as a fault?

I have found that giving them a list in advance is very useful for them, so ultimately very useful for me.

ours is booked in for the upgrade 15th March. Faults currently logged with dealer....

Sketchy locking/unlocking with key since v2.0 upgrade (keys have been checked for re programming)
Over speed warning
Intermittent stutter of tracks via CarPlay
Black/Blank Infotainment screen mainly invoked when moving from Rear View camera back to main menu
Passenger door unlatched on numerous occasions when car in motion and hits speed bump (open door warning triggered)

In terms of black / blank screen, if it is happening in the daytime, could be what i am seeing.

Several times since 2.0 upgrade, I have found that for some reason the brightness of the infotainment screen suddenly drops to zero, such that I thought the infotainment system had crashed, however blocking out light to the screen, I could see there was a very faint image then went to brightness and found set on lowest level, so I can set it back to medium.

I wonder if there is a clever swipe motion that decreases the brightness.

Booked in for the 15th March for the 2.1 update. Interestingly they described it as a “recall”.

Car completely dead for the second time this week, dealer booked it in for the software update this coming Wednesday so happy about that. I was half expecting this to happen based on other people’s stories so if the software upgrade fixes the issue I am all good.

Presumably you’ve given your dealer a list of faults to check? If not, I would recommend you do.

Has anyone had the update compleated as yet? Mine is booked in for Wednesday the 10th but I've seen conflicting info with some saying theirs was booked in last week and others saying the updates now not available until mid-March?

At least one person on the UK facebook group reported having it done and posted a shot of the system settings. Mine is booked in for March 17th.

I had it done last week. It has made no difference to anything as far as I can see.

Mine is going in on Wednesday, they have said they need it for 2 days. I’ve lots of niggles, but thankfully nothing that’s causes a massive, assuming I ignore the heater that tried to freeze me to death

I took mine in for the 2.1 yesterday. The only warning light I had was for the SOS call system, was assuming it was a software fault, but I have just heard it is a hardware fault, and they need to replace the relevant circuit board (under warranty) - hopefully not more than one day delay

My car was booked in for today Tuesday 9th but was asked yesterday to shift it to Thursday this week. The 9th is their first sight of the SW? and I gatheted they want some practice runs to make sure it all goes ok. Previous fire wall issues in the transfer of data from VW in Texas that plays some part in the SW Cloud (Microsoft Azure) maybe? Im not holding my breath that It will be done on Thursday.

Has anyone who's had 2.1 installed tried the scheduled charging feature? Is it now working?
