ID.3 Breakdown Cover

I was wondering if the 3 year breakdown cover supplied with the ID.3 covers punctures? I was going to cancel a cover I have for a previous vehicle but I don't want to do this until I know punctures are covered by the VW scheme. I wouldn't want to use the gloop supplied with the car except in dire emergency. Anyone know the answer or have used the service for a puncture?

I remember finding this when I first had my ID.3 as I was concerned about the same thing. I can't remember where I found it, but the answer is that the breakdown people will take your car to a tyre centre but you will not be covered for the cost of any repairs or replacement.

EDIT: I've just found this in the Roadside Manual:

The cost of a glass or tyre specialist. We will arrange for Your Vehicle to be taken to a nearby
garage for assistance but You will have to pay for any work carried out on the Vehicle. Any
other recovery may be arranged but You will be liable for any additional costs
