Quick query for those that have already had the version 2 upgrade. How long does it usually take? My VW garage started on Tuesday morning and apparently it’s unlikely to be ready til tomorrow (Thursday) is that normal? 2+ days? Wish I’d actually asked for a courtesy car now....

Reasonable question, but a bit like how long is a piece of string, it should only take just over a day if all goes well, as it needs time for software upgrade and testing.
For me 2.0 upgrade took 14 days and 2.1 upgrade has taken 16 days so far, with no estimate of how long the process will take, as they currently don't know why it isn't working.
I hope yours is soon ready.

Some complete the same day, the VAST majority will be 2 days, with some being longer depending on what happens and whether the control units and modules "take" the updates.

I was without the car best part of 3working days. I was, the garage told me when I picked the car up, the first upgrade they’d done! (Early March).

Ah, thanks. If not ready tomorrow then I’ll see if I can get a courtesy car in case I fall into the unlucky category. It may be the garage’s first upgrade as it’s in Elgin, so can’t imagine they see many of these cars.....

Mine took about 8 hours, but the garage insisted on keeping it overnight post update to charge it to 100% (why?) and "sanitise' it.

Mine went in, initially scheduled for two days. It has taken a full three and they are recharging it overnight and bringing back to me tomorrow morning, so that will be into day 4 technically I suppose.
