Can’t select gear

Couple of times this week after picking up grandchildren from school, the 1st Ed has refused to go into gear. White abs light stayed lit in cockpit display. Stepped out of the car today and locked it, gave it a couple of minutes and re-tried - all ok. Can’t do that for the next four years! Anybody else?

It’s been mentioned a few times on another forum. In mist cases, as you discovered, it seems to reset. There have however been a few instances were the cars had to be recovered.

I had this happen today and the car is waiting to be recovered. Assume the fix is a software re-set the dealership?

My wife had something odd happen to her last week, although not quite the same as your problem. She pressed the brake and selected "D", but when she pressed the "Play" pedal the car would only move forward an inch or two, and she described it like trying to drive with the handbrake on. She did the usual - get out, lock, walk away, unlock and try again - and the car was OK. She wasn't aware of any warning messages or symbols.
Just wondering if anyone has expereinced this.
