Just a quick note from me as a new forum member - we should all be ready with coffee and cake to celebrate the input and efforts of

UTUMNO

This contributor is just about to hit their 1000th post (may be the person posting the most on this forum - anybody better that?)

Image

Anyhow this person runs the tracker spreadsheet, replies politly and swiftly to all and sundry covering many topics. What a lesson for us to have a decent person doing so much on the forum.

Cheers Utumno - keep up the good work for the next 1000 posts

Thank you :-)

Pff quantity is no guarantee of quality... ;)

and 189 miles still leaves a long walk at the end of a 200 mile journey :)

respect to you Scott28tt - sorry as a newbie I had not spotted all your activity - people like you are valued - better than asking a dealer for hints and tips or a fault that does'nt always re-appear every time.

Having a friendly support group like this forum is essential with new bits of technology as you learn so much from the other users. Utumno's spreadhseet is really invaluable for those of us caught in Never Never Land waiting for our cars to be built.

Fair play to Utumno, his tracker was probably the biggest draw factor for me posting here!

Let's hope the community spirit continues after everyone gets their cars. I've been part of a few owners forums where there has been the same camaraderie while enduring the wait, then it's all gone quiet once everyone has taken delivery, like there's nothing more to say!

Hopefully there'll be not a lot to say from most of you on the defects front one you have them! Our Family decided to set it's alarm off last night while parked on the drive, plugged in and awaiting its timed charge. It does it frequently, but not enough for me to leave it at the dealership for a week and for them to not find a fault. Our Life has never set off its alarm.

Going by some of the recent delivery predictions, I think Scott and I might be placing our orders for ID3 MK2 just before you get them!

Thank you as well Scott
Your posts have helped me a great deal and moved me up the learning curve.
I would add that one of the things that makes Utumno's contribution so noticeable is that he joined on the 4th of July 2021.
That is some volume in less than 7 months!
So my thanks again to you both.

I am one year into a three year lease and just the other day was wondering how soon to start thinking about what to do next given the current delays
