See the ID app is getting ready for software version 3.0, Some nice features turning up.

What’s New
Version History
8 Feb 2022 Version 1.28.0
Support for new functions from ID. Software 3.0 with active We Connect contract period:

- View last Parking Position and Doors & Lights status

- Temperature alerts in cold weather to optimise battery performance

More modifications:

- Optimised battery use and charging mode alerts

- Alerts on user role and inactive location use in vehicle

- Code scanner for vehicle login

I was assuming the car would put up a QR code which the app scanned to pair the car with the account.

Just downloading it on IOS, see what its like.
Update - no visible difference in app, will see what happens when the software update comes.

Presumably, the ID5, which comes with v3 out of the factory, is rolling out right now. Might be a while before this forum sees the benefits

Not sure when ID.5 will start being delivered - I thought that was more like summer 2022 ?

They were being built in the Fully Charged video, so someone is getting them. Might not be the UK or might just be dealers, but it makes sense that both those people would use the same production app-store app.

Yep, that is 2.1.6, and not 1.28.0 ?

Yep, that is 2.1.6, and not 1.28.0 ?

Click on "Read More" the info is there, also scroll down to bottom states update 8 February 2022

Curent version on my phone is 2.2.1 I was having issues with it yesterday so might have been the new version coming online?

Your We Connect id app is version 2.2? I updated yesterday and mine is on 1.28.1.
