Will be travelling from Leicester to Stansted airport next weekend and back . ( Dropping off)
Just planning ahead and looking for charging points.
for return journey,
Ionity at Cambridge services looks favourite on return however, Zap map , says there unreachable due to construction work !
Confirmation of this and any other charging recommendations please ?
Not many around the M11 area , seems a bit poor .

You could try Baldock services they have ionity and gridserve and good facilities
If gridserve is available use it, it’s cheaper

we have done Melton to the airport on a cold day 3 C twice (about 5 miles shorter).
we stopped at shell Buckden on the way out and by sticking to about 60 mph made it back with 25 miles to spare- probably more efficient to stop on the way back, you may want to anyway - faster charge
the pick up car park is now the midstay- 1 hour free if you dont want to pay £7
