VAT Reduction

I wouldn't normally speculate, but when it is Martin Lewis saying there is a "50/50" chance of a VAT reduction, if you have a car coming soon, it may be worthwhile seeing what the announcement is. It is unlikely to be immediate, but probably wouldn't be announced this early for April 1st.

12 VAT is not being reduced in this announcement, but there is a chance (50-50 I'd say) that may happen next week.

He's talking about VAT on energy, particularly for businesses, for whom it is 20%. Not VAT in general.

Last time the VAT was reduced very few passed the reduction on and just increased there prices to fill the gap but when the VAT went from 15% to 20% everyone increased the prices

For me I think this will just make things even worse long term
