I have been told May for my Tour S but the salesman had little hope on that date. I ordered mine three weeks after you. What a shambles, when Cupra Born is constantly being advertised.

Just one? Great. I don't think mine will ever arrive. Of course, as soon as I successfully jump ship a load of Maxs will arrive and I'll probably continue to fail to receive a car.

A deer ran into my car today. I have a spare car that I will now have to tax and insure. An ID.3 Max would have spotted the deer I think and beaten my reactions. It was a dim morning in trees with oncoming traffic that had super bright lights and the deer ran into the side of the car.

I can't help but feel like the failure of things to go to plan is costing me quite a bit in various ways (mainly petrol!).

So there we are, delivered and one happy wife,

What can say guys….. it’s been a journey, a long 15 months, but we got there, the car is beautiful drives like a dream, and has the full assistance + pack, area view camera, blind spot, travel assist, illuminated handles the lot,

I’ll still be around, and I wish you all the best of luck with your deliveries,

Like others have reported, I’ve just been told my tour order has moved from week 45 to 12/2023.

Hi all, after long silence I decide to try and get an update from local VW. Originally my estimated delivery was December 22/January 23, but after I talked with sales person today, he advised that there will be delay, but wasn't sure for exact time. Still no build date and colour was changes from stonewashed blue to scale silver...

Dealer update, we are getting the government grant now .
Car has moved from a Jan 23 build to Dec 1st week 22 but it could change . Mind you our build went from Nov to March , Jan now Dec !
They sent a screenshot of the order on the system now and it’s a confirmed MY 23 build .
But more hopeful we will get the car Jan/Feb 23 now .
Fingers crossed we will finally get our car !!

So, just had some good news, apparently car was built week 40 and looks like stonewash blue too, my leasing company are double checking with VW but it looks no more stonewash blue on builds from week 46 builds onwards.

Excellent news, hopefully our Wk51 will actually be built!
We did get one bit of good news from Toyota, we bought a Yaris Hybrid while we waited for the ID3.
Part of a sales promotion they have sent a £250 fuel voucher, result!

Just spoke to the dealer, car is at Emden!! They’re predicting UK arrival within 7 days and delivery around 3 weeks.

Just had my update. Still status 10

A couple of days off the 14 month mark. Fantastic stuff. What I took from the call is that the factory is beyond incompetent. Kinda knew that already.
