Puddle lights. (Mirror Down Lights)
Yay.. 20 months old and I get to join the 'Fractal' Puddle light club. Really odd as I check these often and I am sure that up to a week or so ago they were fine, and then both have gone..
I know many others have reported it and I think had them replaced under warranty, so I'll be popping mine into a random dealer soon.
* I did search for an existing thread but couldn't find anything recent.

I'm sure I have seen this before but can not find the thread, here or SpeakEV! Strange 'logo' isn't it?

The point of the post is the specks/flecks around the main design, like a sort of shattered look. The main design is correct.
ID.3 Family Pro Performance (Jan 22). Also an ID.4 Max. Ohme Home Pro charger.
Seems the Golf R owners have had similar issues, someone on an R forum has added Part NUmbers for the Golf and Golf R projectors, but I have not found the ID ones yet?

I haven't done anything about it yet, my car is now 2 yers old so I should book the service. Others in the UK have had these replaced under warranty, it's hard to argue it's wear and tear so don't see how VW can not replace them.
I did look into the various parts as I said above as if there had been a standard VW projection I may have bought those instead, but it doesn't look like there is one.

I had the same issue with my VW puddle lights recently. It’s frustrating, especially since they worked fine a week ago. Definitely take it to a dealer—if your car is still under warranty, they should replace them for free. I had mine replaced without any issues. There’s a good chance it’s a common fault, so they should be familiar with it.

Same! I thought it was a kind weird Renault logo! Mine are really bad, only bought the car a couple of months ago, it’s a December 21 registered Pro S. added to the job list.

My puddle lights started to deteriorate at around three years old. They look about the same as OP's photos. My car is out of warranty and it doesn't really bother me. It's purely an aesthetic thing anyways.
I looked up the part numbers and they are:
Left side LHD: 10B 945 301
Right side LHD: 10B 945 302
Left side RHD: 10C 945 301
Right side RHD: 10C 945 302
They cost around 40 euros each (plus VAT). So not terribly expensive but not cheap either.
