Really happy with the car. Only minor gripe is that sometimes when I jump in the car the memory seat doesn't go in to the saved position. No big deal.

Are you just pressing the memory slot button rather than holding the button? if so, try holding the button down and see if it reverts to your memorised seat position. I found holding down the button was the only way to switch between seat position memory slots.

Yeah I'm having to long press number 1 till it's back to its position. It doesn't happen all the time thankfully, so I'm not overly fussed about it. Thanks for the reply mate.

load new settings message is infuriating.

There's a fix for this. Take it to VW for TPI 2068365/4. They should find the TPI on the system, and it didn't take them long to apply the fix. Not had the issue since (a month now)

Thanks for this I'll give it a go. It will feel like a different car if it can remember my settings. Was it completed whist you waited?

Even I expected it would be just a single press and it would just do the rest automatically, not a press & hold, although this is the first car i've had with memory seats. The car definitely has its nuances.

Yep same for me too. I can live with pressing the button whenever I need to.

Drive assist is good and the augmented reality in the heads up display is great. It’s not perfect yet but it is close to autonomous driving on a dual carriageway.
