I bought a 2020 id3 a month ago. I cannot use the app as the free subscription has run out. Its with vw technical now and I'm not getting any solutions. Has anyone else had this problem and how did you solve it. Thanks.
Firstly it's no longer the weconnect app, that is obsolete. You need the app called Volkswagen.
If that's not the issue, have you got a login? Try logging into the website and see if you can buy a weconnect or/and weconnect plus contract from there.

Thanks for the reply. I have the right app. When I try to purchase it I get an error message.
