Hello forum brains,
I’m staying in Anglesey at the moment, the house has a podpoint solo with no attached cable but I’m have no luck charging.
There is a physical key to turn the charger on.
So I turn the key on and get a blue light.
Connect the charge lead to the podpoint
Connect the charge lead to ID3
The charger makes a click clunk noise like something is switching inside
Then I get a red light on the charger. And the car suggests there is a charging communication error.
From what I can find online this suggests a charger issue rather than car. I’ve power cycled the charger from the fuse box and tried a couple of time with the same end result.
The car is set to charge immediately.
Is there another step I should be doing with a podpoint?

It’s a holiday let so I don’t have access to the app for this unit.
However, we nudged the letting agent who nudged the owner who reported back they had ‘reset’ the unit and now it’s working fine.
It’s supposed to be activated by the key, but there must still be some app stuff at play.
Back to holidays!
