My 2021 ID3 came up with multiple warning lights, the car is under warranty and the VW dealer has investigated. The car has now been referred to a battery centre. The earliest appointment they can see the car is May 2024. YES May 2024, we're in October 2023. Has anyone else experienced this issue and is unable to get an appointment at a battery centre??

Yes, the battery centres are few and the number of cars needing module changes are many, though this shouldn't stop the car working, dependant on what the errors are.
Has the dealer seen much of your car, are all the software updates up to date, have you had 3.2 installed recently, did the dealer mention recalls for battery checks? Some people are seeing errors post the 3.2 update, if you haven't had any of the update srecently then unfortunately this could be pointint to a more serious issue. (as I have no real info to go on there's a lot of speculation going on)

Phone up VW assist and see if they can find you an earlier appointment at a different centre. 6 months without a car or with a malfunctioning car is clearly not on.
