Hi folks. Anyone in the southeast had a replacement id3 key made for a reasonable cost? I'd expected somewhere in the region of £300 including coding. VW High Wycombe want £450 and VW Slough want £556!
I'd be prepared to travel for a reasonable cost.
Thanks for any help.

Might not be relevant depending on circumstances, ....but does your insurance cover this cost ?

Thanks. It does but a claim can only be made if the locks are physically changed. As far as I know the iD3 is just a matter of coding.
i have seen ID3 keys for sale on eBay for like £50 and , references to third party key programmers that can programme a key for around £100.
I've lost my spare key so might try this myself but have no personal experience of this yet.
