After a mere 6 months and approximately 10 miles of use both socks have developed a hole on the inside, do you think I can claim on warranty?

You’ve obviously got the V2.0, you need to get them upgraded

I got a matching mask when I was upgraded to 2.1
I've not had the nerve to wear it in public.....
