What I find strange about this is that having done the cardboard box test the car doesn't brake when there is an obstacle behind anyway... which I find most odd.

When you select reverse the infotainment screen displays the part assist screen. Select the three dashes or settings symbol on bottom left of screen. You will be presented with Manoeuvre braking option which can be disengaged. Looks like it resets to on so you will need to repeat when you restart. Works for bike rack
